THANKSGIVING
THANKSGIVING
at THE THRONE
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord,
all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness:
come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God:
it is he that hath made us,
and not we ourselves;
we are his people,
and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
and into his courts with praise:
be thankful unto him,
and bless his name.
For the LORD is good;
his mercy is everlasting;
and his truth endureth to all generations.

An author who I am currently reading reminds us that there are stages toward the throne. We come first in thanksgiving. We follow that with praise. Then comes real worship as we bask in the presence of the LORD who sets on the throne. This is true thanksgivings and gets the focus off the things he does and off of us and places the focus squarely on HIM where it belongs.
Be thankful, Praise Him, Worship Him.
To Him be the glory!!!!
