Christmas is ...

Christmas is for receiving gifts,
and that is good,
Christmas is for giving gifts
and that is better!
Christmas is getting together with family and friends
and that is good,
Christmas is for special and fine foods
and that is good,
Christmas is fun in parties
and that is good,
Christmas is remembering love, joy, peace, mercy, and grace
and that is GOD!
That is what Christmas is all about:
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have
everlasting life."
John 3:16
Take time to remember this at this Christmas season. Remember His gift!

A CHRISTMAS MEMORIAL

"Those 12 stones which they had taken from the Jordan, Joshua set
up at Gilgal. He said to the sons of Israel, "When your children ask
their fathers in time to come, saying 'What are these stones?', then you
shall inform your children, saying 'Israel crossed this Jordan on dry
ground.'" Joshua 4:20-22

God instructed Joshua to set up a memorial of their crossing of the
Jordan. It was to serve as a perpetual reminder of God's deliverance.
Today the cross (in whatever form or place) is a memorial to what
God did through Jesus.
The Christmas season hopefully also serves as a memorial to God's
love and grace. May we be reminded and give Him thanks in the midst of
our rushing around. Let's celebrate Jesus!
Merry Christmas to all!!!

Trust in the LORD and Share with Others

"It is well with the man
who is gracious and lends,
He will maintain his cause in judgment
For he will never be shaken.
The righteous will be remembered forever
He will not fear evil things
His heart is steadfast
Trusting in the LORD."
Psalm 112:5-7

When we trust in the LORD He provides for us. When He provides for
us, we can be gracious and generous toward those who have needs.
We can give because God provides. When we give He provides more!
Isn't it great to be a channel of God's blessings!
