LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

    Jesus said, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, ever as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

GIVE THANKS!

Psalm 138:1-2
I will give You thanks with all my heart;
I will sing praises to You before the gods.
I will bow down toward Your holy temple
And give thanks to Your name for Your
       lovingkindness and Your truth;
For you have magnified Your word according to all Your name.

Yoke to Jesus!

Matthew 11:28-30 (NASB)
28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
29 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me. for I am gentle and humble
in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
+++++
    There are 3 commands (invitations) in this passage: Come, Take, and
Learn. The result will be rest! Can it be more simple?!?

POWER FROM WEAKNESS

2 Corinthians 12:8-9
8 Concerning this (Thorn in the flesh) I implored the Lord three times
that it might leave me.
9 And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is
perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast
about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
+++++
How often do we want to get rid of the very thing God is using to bless
us?!?

STUDY TO BELIEVE

Acts 17:10-12 (NASB)
10 The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away be night to Berea,
and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11  Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for
they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures
daily to see whether these things were so.
12  Therefore many of them believed, ......
+++++++++++++++
    Two things stand out in this passage. First, the Bereans were
called 'noble-minded' because they searched the Scriptures to see if
Paul was preaching the truth. Second, when they found out, they believed!
    The challenge: Search the Scriptures! That will lead to faith!
