TRUSTING GOD IN THE NEW YEAR!
Joshua 1:8-9
"This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

These words are some of God's instructions to Joshua as he is commissioned to replace Moses and lead the people into the promised land.
There are two things Joshua is reminded of: The word of God and the presence of God. Because of those he was to be strong and courageous.
These are encouraging words as we face the uncertainties of the new year of 2023. Remember God is with you!

JOY OF THE LORD
THE JOY OF THE LORD!
John 15:9-11
"Just as the Father has loved Me (Jesus), I have also loved you; abide in My love.
"If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
"These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

Real joy comes from the LORD. It is more than happiness! Happiness depends on circumstances, which change!
Joy comes from God and being where He wants us.
Are you experiencing the joy of the LORD?
Then praise Him!
If not, seek Him!
