Loving Disagreement!

Mark 12:29-31 (NKJV)
29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O
Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
30 'And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the
first commandment.
31 "And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as
yourself.'
+++++++++++++++
In another passage, Jesus describes the neighbor as anyone who needs
help in any way.
We live in a culture where the meaning of 'love' has been forgotten. We
live in a land where 'disagreement' is also misunderstood.
I see all the time, the idea that if I disagree with you, I hate you. If
disagreement means hate, then I must assume you also hate me if we
disagree on anything. And since everyone disagrees with someone, then we
all hate and we are in a world of trouble.
+++ Jesus gave us the pattern of love, even when we disagree. So lets
change our world and love one another, even those who disagree with us!
There in lies the hope of our nation being great!
+++ Go forth ans seek the good of all, and thus glorify God!
