A CHRISTMAS MEMORIAL

"Those 12 stones which they had taken from the Jordan, Joshua set
up at Gilgal. He said to the sons of Israel, "When your children ask
their fathers in time to come, saying 'What are these stones?', then you
shall inform your children, saying 'Israel crossed this Jordan on dry
ground.'" Joshua 4:20-22

God instructed Joshua to set up a memorial of their crossing of the
Jordan. It was to serve as a perpetual reminder of God's deliverance.
Today the cross (in whatever form or place) is a memorial to what
God did through Jesus.
The Christmas season hopefully also serves as a memorial to God's
love and grace. May we be reminded and give Him thanks in the midst of
our rushing around. Let's celebrate Jesus!
Merry Christmas to all!!!
