MERRY CHRISTMAS!

After he (Joseph) had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel -- which means, "God with us."
                                                Matthew 1:20-23 NIV

The angel said to them (shepherds), "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ (Messiah) the Lord."
                                                Luke 2:10-11 NIV

... Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."
When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.
                                                Matthew 2:1-2; 10-11 NIV

Jesus, Immanuel, Savior, Christ, Lord, King ......
Whatever you call him it is a day to celebrate.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
