The church working together
Romans 12: 4-5, 10-13 (NASB)
4 For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function,
5 so we, who are many are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
...
10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;
11 not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,
13 contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.

In this passage Paul compares the church (body of Christ) to the human body. Each part of the body doing its function makes for a healthy body. When one part is ill or just does not work, then the whole body is limited. So it is with the church. Each member of the church has a function to perform. As each one does his/her part, the whole is built up. Likewise, when a part does not work, then the whole is limited.
Think about it. What is your part in your church? Do you trust God in doing it?
