God was with David!

I Samuel 16:18; 17:45-47 (NASB)
King Saul asked for a man who can play well:
18  Then one of the young men said, "Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who is a skillful musician, a mighty man of valor, a warrior, one prudent in speech, and a handsome man; and the LORD is with him."
+++ David goes against the giant:
45  Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted.
46  "This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, ..., that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,
47  and that all this assembly ay know that the LORD does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the LORD's and He will give you into our hands."
++++++++++++++++
   This is a longer passage, but I wanted to get the key idea in. With all the glamorous descriptions of David, the one that stands out is "The LORD is with him." Repeatedly throughout the Bible we find that making the difference in people's lives.
   I wonder why we cannot get that today!?! We come up against a problem and try everything we know, and when nothing else works, we decide to pray about it! If we will let the LORD walk with us daily, then when any problem comes, we will go to Him! He may not work things out according to our likes, but it will be the best! Hi knows what he is doing.
   So, today, will you let Him walk with you, so that tomorrow you can walk with Him through any problem He permits to come your way? To God be the Glory!
