Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" and He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.

It is finished! All that Jesus had come to do, was done. All that was required for salvation for whosoever would accept it had been done. He had accomplished His purpose!
As we accept His forgiveness, we must ask ourselves: "Are we accomplishing our purpose?"
